Will Smith and Margot Robbie (The Wolf of Wallstreet) have the perfect amount of believable chemistry and continually challenge each other throughout the film. Margot is stunning and Will is handsome and charming as per usual.
There are more twists and turns than the trailer hints towards, and there’s no way you can foresee this movie’s ending.
Sometimes you just know what will happen next during a movie. You can call out the next scene or even the next line, but not with Focus.
By the end, my jaw dropped and I couldn’t help but laugh at the flawless and creative conclusion tying everything up in a neat little bow.
It’s the perfect cute and quirky movie to watch during a comfy night at home with friends or a loved one.
What I didn’t: Although Will and Margot lit up the screen, I feel Focus could have used at least one more well-known face to complete the casting. I only recognized a couple other actors as having roles in Law and Order and House of Cards, but no one else in the movie wowed me.
