Yesterday, I was browsing Barnes and Noble on my lunch break, as per usual, and was in search of a new book (like I don't already have a hundred books at home I've yet to read).
Nothing was really jumping out at me. Well, that's not true. Nothing in my price range* was jumping out until I spotted a beautiful neon book jacket.
Fiend looked incredibly appealing based on its cover alone. I picked it up, read the plot synopsis and instantly decided I had found a match.
I'll be starting Fiend this week. If I end up liking it, which i'm positive I will, I would have successfully found a great new book based on judging it by its cover.
Have you ever bought a book based on its cover alone?
